Shawston Riser Tubes are fully test certified, copies can be provided to customers and their clients. All tubes are pre-grooved at both ends saving you both installation time AND on-site grooving costs. Working with the premium brand (Victaulic), the Shawston Thin Wall Riser Tube pre-groove is audited and rigorously tested in-house assuring the customer that all their QS necessities are met.

At 40% lighter as well as being less expensive than the usual “heavy” steel riser tube, the Shawston Thin Wall Riser Tube allows a single operative to carry a 3m length of thin wall riser pipe, whereas two are required for traditional heavy weight. The substantial weight saving and ease of manual handling also means contractors can collect tube and fit approximately 40% more tube volume in their panel van – meaning more time on-site installing and less time having to remove or to cut a shift short.
